OIA is a cosmopolitan resort of Santorini. It is worldwide famous for its dreamy sunsets. During dusk a large number of people gather, to see this magical moment when the sun dives in the vastness of the Aegean Sea where the ginger colors of the dying day dominate. Oia is build at a 350m. altitude and is located on the north side of the island at a distance of 11 km from Fira. It is distinguished for its authentic beauty. Its main characteristic is its undercut settlement, the houses are dug into the rock. Such settlements we meet only on Santorini, due to the particular composition of the soil.
Akrotiri is located on the southwest part of the island of Santorini at a distance of 15 km from Fira. The archeological site of Akrotiri is very impressive, something not to be missed by a visitor! It was widely known thanks to the prehistoric settlement which was discovered from excavations, which started systematically in 1967. Visitors can admire part of the rich ancient densely structured city, which stretches to 200 stremmas as a whole, in a perimetric route.

At a distance of 3 km from Perissa and 10 km from Fira, at the south of Santorini, is the Perivolos Beach, with crystal clear waters and the famous black sand, something you will very rarely meet on another island. It is one of the most highly frequented beaches of the island. Along the beach you will find many restaurants and beach bars to enjoy your meal or your drink with view of the Aegean Sea. It offers its bathers a lot of comforts and there is the possibility of water sports.
04. Kamari Beach
Kamari is one of popular tourism resorts on Santorini. It is 10 km away from Fira and is distinct for its touristic infrastructure. Its beach is one of the most high-class beaches of the island. There is black pebble, it is well-organized and it stretches as far as Monolithos. Take advantage of your visit and take a swim at Kamari, visit Ancient Thira, but don’t forget to walk along the beach in the evening and drink your cocktails at one of the numerous exotic bars, clubs of Kamari.
Pyrgos is a medieval jewel which dominates on a hill overlooking Santorini from one edge to the other, from Akrotiri to Oia. It is a small castle which retains, even today, the characteristics of the Venetian Empire, dotted with churches and ruins, breathing an intense feeling of strength and prosperity. Three large, blue domes decorate the village, where mansions and village houses are in a harmonious co-existence. Climb the mountain! There are road routes as well as foot paths to the top. Enjoy the view from the monastery. It is really impressive!
